Systems Facilitators

We provide a 360-degree understanding of the complexity of urban systems and spaces and the challenges that arise within them. Our context-driven approach allows us to navigate these challenges with focused agility. Through this, we convene and facilitate processes to address urban issues and bring about dynamic and innovative urban development, from concept to implementation.

Urbanisation-Sensitive Programming

To help us to do this in a coherent and neutral manner, we have devised a multidimensional tool that incorporates key elements of urbanisation and forces participants and other users of the tool to (re)assess their urban projects to reveal not only the intended but also the complex unintended consequences of their urban projects.

Our overarching goal is to converge and align the multifaceted systems that form the fundamental framework of urban areas.

ComplexCity is a team of three professionals experienced in our respective fields, encompassing participatory policy design and development processes; integrated urban development strategies; hard and soft infrastructure, including transport, spatial planning, and built environment; and
sustainable social, environmental, formal and informal economic development and innovation.
